Foothills Regional Airport Authority
The Foothills Regional Airport Authority is comprised of elected officials from the cities of Morganton and Lenoir, and the counties of Burke and Caldwell. Each of those governing bodies appoint a non-elected citizen to the board. The cities of Morganton and Lenoir and the counties of Burke and Caldwell help fund the airport.
The Authority meets monthly on the last Wednesday of the month at noon at the airport. The public is invited.
